The Exposed Incremental Linear Encoder Kit "L" is a minimum configuration length-measuring system for use in situations where installation space is limited. The kit is a reflective system based on the miniaturized and multifunctional EPIFLEX measuring module using steel scale tapes, with a resolution to 50 nanometers. It can be used where space is a critical factor, Eg, applications for which even the very small measuring head of the LIE 5 (below) is too large.
