The IP series gearheads have been designed to provide long life in industrial automation, industrial, scientific and process control applications that require repetitive cycling featuring high dynamics, accurate velocity or positional control. Advanced manufacturing techniques, combined with a design focused on the needs of state of the art motion control has resulted in a combination of optimised performance characteristics combined with economic prices. Suitable for use with M35 and M66 series motors.  Typical backlash < 30 arc mins.  There is a choice of standard ratios from 4:1 to 10,000:1, with torques from 3.3 - 20Ncm, with other ratios readily available to special order, see the IP43 and IP57 Series datasheet for the full specification.

The IP/M500 series geared DC Servo Motors utilise a high strength planetary gearhead design with rated torques up to 20Nm and a wide choice of gear ratios. Other combinations of gear ratio and motor are available on request, and for reduced backlash application specify the HPE or HP series gearheads. The IP/M500 range of geared DC Servo Motor are ideal for use in general purpose industrial systems.
