Inefficiency and tolerances are present throughout most systems, which can make highly precise positioning tricky at best! So when we need to position a load, with high accuracy, on a linear stage/slide, we almost always use a linear style encoder to close the loop. Our in stock motion controllers, with dual encoder feedback, allows us to create a very tight positional loop between the motor and the linear stage.
